$80,500 – $105,000

Location:
Remote with ability to commute to Bethesda, MD occasionally.

Job Description:
The Business Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train new employees.
  • Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and organizes daily activities related to operations.
  • Lead and manage the bid and proposal process.
  • Maintain company registrations at the state and federal level.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assist the CEO and HR Director with projects as needed.
  • Assist with immigration related matters.
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Prepare budgets and accounting reports.
  • Run bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources to ensure successful operations.
  • Determines labor needs to meet goals.
  • Manage accounting processes, including AP, AR, and reconciliations.
  • Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization’s operations manual and policies.
  • Evaluate new/potential markets and products and assist in developing and implementing marketing plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Sills/Abilities:

  • Federal contracting experience is required.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations management.
  • Ability to interpret accounting and financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with GoogleWorkspace.

Experience:
